MOTION GRANTED – Case DISMISSED – Drug Trafficking

Recently represented a young man in federal court in Los Angeles who had been indicted for trafficking over five pounds of pure methamphetamine.  As a result of this charge and the fact that he had two prior drug trafficking convictions, my client was facing a mandatory life sentence.  The government offered a deal for 15 years.  Based upon my research and independent investigation that we conducted, I believed that we could prove that several agents had misrepresented facts about the search warrant and recommended to my client that we fight the case rather than take the deal.  We did, and WON the suppression hearing.  All charges were thrown out.
