Client had turned his life around. He had a job, was getting his gang tattoos removed and was attending school. A drive-by shooting in his neighborhood where witnesses recalled the shooter who had a gang moniker the same as my client. Client had an alibi for all day because he had been building a fence on the property between his parents and neighbors house. Through a private investigator eye witnesses were interviewed and testified that client had been building the fence all day. Additionally through investigation and subpoenas, evidence of hardware store receipts, ATM camera photos with date and time, cancelled checks from the neighbor for half the cost of the fence were uncovered. At trial client was acquitted of all charges and co-defendant was convicted on all charges.
